Rafael Pontes de Miranda is the founder and managing partner of Rafael Pontes de Miranda Sociedade de Advogados, an interdisciplinary law firm based in Recife, Brazil, along with a branch in the city of São Paulo.

He has a multifaceted academic background, in addition to graduating with honours from law school, he has an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, an MBA in accounting, and a postgraduate degree in commercial and tax law. From 2019 to 2021, he held the position of Director of Innovation at the “Escola Superior de Advocacia Nacional,” which oversees the education programs offered by the Brazilian Bar Association.

Rafael has outstanding experience in a wide range of corporate structuring and restructuring operations –  primarily within the area of technology and creative economy. He has also served as a public prosecutor and, for many years, taught civil procedure courses in various law schools’ programmes.
